I know I haven’t posted in a few weeks. I’ve been busy with…well, life. I’m still working on Weeks 8 & 9 of Project Life and I’m hoping to finish them this week…maybe even tonight. This Thursday is 3 weeks from when we leave for Hawaii. It’s SOOOO close! I still need to start on my packing list, normally by this time I would have it all planned out and know exactly what I’m packing. Except for this time, I’m packing for 2 people. I have been working on our “itinerary” for while we’re there and finding things to do and figuring out when we’ll do things. I’ve made a few reservations with Open Table – one for Stella Blues on Easter and Mama’s Fish House. If anyone knows of any other go-to restaurants, please let me know.

until next time…

2013 is here, finally.

So I know it’s been forever since I’ve blogged and so much has happened! Chris and I got married on December 1, 2012 – not all of the pictures are up yet but once they are I’ll post a few on here. It was an amazing day and worth all of the 6 months of planning (yes, I did that…). Our honeymoon won’t be until the end of March, originally our wedding date was March 30. Let me fill you in as to why (it’ll make more sense). Chris’ step-mom’s mom was a travel agent for Hawaii and had a timeshare there. She passed away a little over 4 years ago and left the timeshare to Chris’ step-mom and her sister. About a year ago, we were all at lunch and jokingly I said that me & Chris were going there for our honeymoon. We got engaged in June, so of course it came up again about the honeymoon and that’s why the date of our wedding was the end of March (they have the timeshare from March 28 – April 11). We ended up moving the wedding date to December 1, so we could have time to save up for Hawaii. So, that’s that. And yes, we are going for the whole 2 weeks!! :) neither one of us has been before so we’re both really looking forward to it!

One of my new years resolutions is to blog more (I know I’ve said this before, but this time I want to do it and keep up with it!).
So I was looking at blogs this morning and came across a snail mail swap.
Of course, I signed up for it and I’m really excited!! I remember seeing a pin on Pinterest about random things you can mail through the USPS as long as its under 13 ounces (flip flops, sand bucket, water bottle … haha.. You get the point) You have until January 18 to sign up!
one more thing, project life 365. found it on instagram this morning so I’m going to try that this year as well and will be posting my photos on my blog.
